Hot Springs National Park

Hot Springs National Park, located in central Arkansas, is a unique blend of natural and cultural history, centered around the ancient thermal springs that have been flowing for thousands of years. These grand structures, including the Fordyce Bathhouse, which now serves as the park's visitor center, and the Buckstaff Bathhouse, which continues to operate as a traditional bathhouse, offer a glimpse into the era when the city was a flourishing spa destination. The bathhouses are a testament to the healing properties attributed to the thermal waters and the park's role in American leisure and wellness culture.
